Our One Direction Experience, thanks to Myer

We arrived to find thousands of screaming fans gathering around the car park, in hope of catching a glimpse of the UK Boy band before the show.
It was amazing to witness yet difficult to fathom how five young men can create such a fan base around the world.
Before One Direction hit the stage, Aussie supporting act 5 Seconds of Summer performed songs including Katy Perry's hit song Teenage Dream along with some of their very own original tracks.
When you thought the screaming could not get any louder, you should have heard when the boys of One Direction hit the stage. The arena went wild, chanting and cheering as the boys appeared on stage singing 'Up All Night'.
The songs just kept coming and you could not help but to sing along. Midway through the show they boys transitioned via a floating platform whilst singing, to another stage in the centre of the arena. This was perfect for the fans at the back of the arena as they now had an even better view.
From the centre stage they talked to their fans and had a Q&A answering questions that fans had tweeted in prior to the show. They then sang a few more hit songs before making their way back to the main stage.
Everyone though it was the end of the show, but wait... it was not over yet the screams started to gain volume again when they sang songs including 'Teenage Dirtbag' and then performed one of their most well known hits 'What makes you beautiful'.
They closed the show with streamers, confetti and beach balls which filled the arena.
It wasn't until the show was over, that you wished it started again.

Thank you to Australian Department store Myer, who granted us access to the show!
